How to Watch NHL Games with IPTV (2026): National, Regional and Canadian Feeds
NHL games arrive on IPTV under three kinds of feed at once: US national networks, US regional networks, and the Canadian broadcasters that carry far more of the schedule. Which channels carry NHL games
Rights move between broadcasters, so treat this as the 2026 picture and check the current holder for your country. The season runs October to June.
United States
National games are on ESPN and ABC, TNT and truTV, with NHL Network carrying additional games. Most of a team's schedule is on a regional sports network. Providers carry the nationals reliably; regional feeds vary.
Canada
Sportsnet and TSN carry the national and regional games, with Hockey Night in Canada on CBC and Sportsnet on Saturdays. Canadian feeds are often the best route to Canadian teams' full schedules. Look for "CA: Sportsnet East/West/Ontario/Pacific", "CA: TSN 1-5" and "CA: CBC".
United Kingdom and Europe
Rights holders change; providers usually carry the US and Canadian feeds, which cover far more of the schedule than any single European broadcaster.
Nordics
Viaplay has carried the NHL across the Nordic countries; providers carry the local Viaplay sport channels.
How the games show up in an IPTV lineup
Hockey nights combine US national feeds, Canadian regional feeds and US regional networks, so the same game can appear under three different channel names. TIVRA checks all of your providers for guide data, matchup-style names ("Leafs @ Bruins", "NHL 03") and the network name, then ranks the matches with HD and your default provider first. For Canadian teams, the Sportsnet regional feed is often the match even for a US account.
