  • Pause live TV: a rolling buffer (60 minutes by default, up to 4 hours) to pause, rewind, fast-forward, and jump back to live.
  • Scheduled recordings from the guide: long-press a future program, including "record every airing". Schedules survive a reboot.
  • Record to a NAS or USB drive, with separate locations for the live buffer and recordings.
  • Rebuilt movie and show player: fewer frame drops, accelerated seeking, faster start from Continue Watching, real audio and subtitle pickers.
  • Trakt integration: scrobbling, Continue Watching sync across devices, and Trending / Recommended / Upcoming rows.
  • Full-bleed detail pages with backdrop art; a stream-info indicator showing the resolution and formats actually playing.

The biggest release since launch.

  • A completely redrawn interface: deeper blacks, sharper type, one consistent highlight colour on every screen.
  • Your own media library: connect Jellyfin or Emby, or point TIVRA at a network share. Posters, plots, cast, Continue Watching, and Next Up, with progress synced both ways.
  • Multi-View: up to four live channels at once, mixing providers, with one-press audio switching.
  • Dashboard control from your phone: set up providers, organise channels, send a movie to the TV, or schedule a recording. Changes sync within seconds.
  • Trakt scrobbling covers your own library too. Back reliably closes menus; focus no longer gets lost in dialogs.

Live TV moved to a brand-new playback engine: faster channel changes, tighter sync, automatic recovery when a stream hiccups. Pause and rewind now work on single-connection accounts. The UI scale slider now resizes the whole app for couch distance. Rename channels from the dashboard, and a simplified categories mode that shows only your custom categories in Live TV. Connections are freed within seconds of leaving a channel; clearer messaging when a connection limit is hit.

Smarter search that shows what's airing now, automatic reconnection for frozen streams, a recording storage limit with cleanup, per-provider stream-format and country settings.

Auto-play the next episode for provider shows and your own library. Long-press to remove Continue Watching cards. Subtitle size, background, and position options; an always-show-clock toggle; real playback controls on phones.

3.1.7 Sep 2

Closed captions on live TV. An aspect-ratio button with five modes. Multi-provider users always play from the right service. Faster movie start and skipping.

Channel lists and the guide keep the highlighted row centred while scrolling. New guide shortcuts. Plain-language errors within a second when a provider refuses a stream, instead of a black screen.

Sports Hub

  • A new Sports page: every game of the day across NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, college football and basketball, and the major European soccer leagues, matched to channels you already have. Press once to preview, again for full screen.
  • Live scores, standings, and box scores with player stats. A hide-scores option for spoiler-free viewing.
  • Choose which leagues show and in what order.
  • Skip intro and play next episode for shows; Continue Watching rows on the Movies and Series pages.
  • TIVRA is now on the Google Play Store.

  • Multi-View for sports: open every game in progress in one press, or save custom views with 2, 4, 6, or 8 screens, each set to a channel, a league's next game, or one of your teams.
  • Change channel inside Multi-View, grouped by games in progress, upcoming games, and your sports channels.
  • Game matching searches every provider you have. Add your own channels to the Sports channel list.
  • Reorder or hide home rows and the left menu, from the TV or the dashboard's Layout tab, synced across devices.

  • Every channel carrying a game, across every provider, grouped by provider and network. Your pick for a game sticks.
  • More accurate game matching; Multi-View screens show the live score and status instead of the channel name.
  • "Back to previous view" reopens the exact grid you left. Frozen screens can be reloaded and reconnect on their own.
  • Faster Multi-View start-up and channel lookups; a dedicated Sports tab on the dashboard.
3.3.0Sports Hub, expandedSep 16
  • 42 leagues: cricket, rugby, AFL, NRL, the Championship, FA Cup, Scottish Premiership, Eredivisie, Liga MX, Libertadores, CFL, UFL, G League, college baseball and hockey, and more. Defaults follow your region.
  • Organised for it: a Live now row, sport filters with a colour per sport, rows ordered by your teams and live games, a Browse more strip and See all grids.
  • Hold OK on a game opens its channels and the box score, so stats work on remotes without a Play button. One-table box score in the info panel.
  • Your Watchlist row on Home from Trakt; add several sports channels at once; Multi-View fixed on Google TV Streamer.
